Multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer Jason Mendelson of Alexandria, Virginia created MetroSongs in 2010 with the goal of writing and recording a unique original song for each of the DC area's 91 Metro station locations, based on local history and character. The project was completed in April 2017 with Volumes 7 & 8.
